Introducing WalkingBed Pro Max REM Edition

Walk in your sleep. Literally.

You work at a desk that walks, so why lie in a bed that doesn't? WalkingBed is the world's first horizontal ambulation sleep system, and it gets you 10,000 steps before your alarm goes off.

The Science

Supine Gravitational Inversion Ambulation™

For 300,000 years, humans have walked with gravity. Our researchers asked a simple question: what if you didn't?

z z z belt g (gravity, vertical) stride (horizontal) θ = 90° → load = 0 lateral adipose migration (toward exit)
Fig. 1. When stride and gravity meet at 90°, joint load mathematically disappears. Adipose tissue, with no clear direction, simply leaves through the feet.
ΔEburn = (vbelt × tREM) / cos(θg)

Because the sleeper lies perpendicular to gravity, cos(θ) goes to zero and caloric output goes to infinity. Our engineers capped it at 4,200 calories per night for legal reasons.

Walking upright stacks your body weight on your knees. SGIA rotates that load into the horizontal plane, where it is absorbed harmlessly by your mattress, your partner, or your dog.

The belt is driven by our proprietary HypnoStride™ motor, which reads micro-twitches in the motor cortex and matches belt speed to your dream speed. If you're being chased in a dream, it switches to Sprint Mode automatically.

Benefits

Everything your body does at night, finally monetized.

01

Somnambulatory Caloric Oxidation™

Burn up to 4,200 calories while your conscious mind is offline. Clinically observed in one participant, who was also the lead researcher's brother-in-law.

02

REM-Stride Synchronization

The HypnoStride™ belt mirrors the pace of your dreams. Falling dreams trigger an automatic 40% decline. Teeth-falling-out dreams void the warranty.

03

10,000 Steps Before Your Alarm

Wake up with your daily fitness goal already done. You'll also be a little sore and unsure why your socks are gone.

04

Lucid Mileage™

Average 26.2 miles a night. That's a marathon you completed while unconscious, and if we're honest, that's how most people finish them anyway.

05

The Snooze Penalty

Every press of snooze adds 2% incline. Users report the alarm becoming "irrelevant" by week three.

06

Dream-to-Dashboard™ Telemetry

The companion app tracks REM Steps, Nocturnal VO₂ Max, and your proprietary Sleepwalk Score™. Share it with friends who never asked.

The Finish Line Experience

Fall asleep a couch potato. Wake up a marathoner.

Every WalkingBed Pro Max ships with the Finisher's Nightstand Kit, so the post-race glow is waiting for you every morning, whether or not you remember the race.

🏅

Auto-Dispensing Finisher's MedalA fresh medal is placed around your neck at 26.2 miles. Your closet will run out before your motivation does.

🍌

Potassium Recovery ModuleA refrigerated nightstand drawer serves one perfectly ripe banana at wake-up. Banana subscription required ($49/mo).

✨

Mylar Thermal Recovery Shroud™A crinkly silver space blanket deploys automatically to stop "post-dream hypothermia." It's loud. Your partner will hear it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can I sleep on a WalkingBed?

WalkingBed is not intended for sleeping. WalkingBed is also not intended for being awake. Please consult your physician, your attorney, and a priest.

What if I'm a side sleeper?

Side sleepers can turn on Crab Walk Mode™, which moves the belt laterally. Stomach sleepers should not purchase WalkingBed and should think about their choices.

Is it loud?

The HypnoStride™ motor runs at 38 decibels, about as loud as a library. The library is on fire, and the library is your bedroom.

What happens if the power goes out?

The belt stops and your legs keep going. Most users wake up around the 40-minute mark.

When does it ship?

Coming Soon™. We use the term in its most scientific sense.

Is there a warranty?

WalkingBed carries a lifetime warranty, where "lifetime" refers to the expected life of the belt (approximately 9 nights).
